Internship

If possible, the internship should be completed in full before the start of the course. If this is not possible, it must be completed by the end of the fourth semester (if starting in the summer semester) or the fifth semester (if starting in the winter semester) at the latest. Further enrollment is not possible after the deadline until suitable proof has been submitted.

A total of 8 weeks of work placement are required, 4 weeks on site, for the remaining 4 weeks you are free to choose between office and construction site.

The construction site internship must be completed in companies from the main construction industry (e.g: Gross Peter GmbH & Co.KG.; Bilfinger Berger Hochbau GmbH NL; Wolff Hoch- und Ingenieurbau GmbH & Co.KG.), so no (interior) finishing companies such as sanitary companies, roofers etc. may be chosen.

Internships of less than 2 weeks will not be accepted; in addition, an activity report and internship contract must be submitted to the Internship Office in order for an internship to be recognized.

The internship is generally considered to have been completed when the trainee has completed specialist vocational training in the construction industry.
