Project Description
Monolithic exterior walls are again being built on a larger scale today. In this research project, influences of monolithic exterior wall constructions (brick, concrete, aerated concrete, loam, solid wood ...) on thermal comfort, energy demand, ecological balance and costs in the life cycle of buildings were investigated and evaluated. The result is an evaluation and comparison scheme and guideline (e.g. for the arrangement of storage masses in the building) for planners and building owners.
