Als Nachfolge zur „Biennial Conference on Advanced Composites in Construction (ACIC)" fand am 7. und 8. September 2022 erstmals die “Fibre Polymer Composites in Construction (FPCC)“ Konferenz in Bradford, UK statt, bei der die Entwicklung und Anwendung von Faserverbundkunststoffen im Bau- und Infrastrukturbereich im Mittelpunkt steht. Das Fachgebiet Massivbau und Baukonstruktion, AG Prof. Pahn der TUK war mit den beiden Vorträgen „Effect of Strip Stiffness in Reinforced Concrete Members Strengthened with Carbon and Basalt Fibre-Reinforced Polymers“ von Szymon Grzesiak und „Influence of Aggressive Environmental Conditions and Sustained Load on the Degradation Mechanisms of Vinyl Ester GFRP Rebars” von Nora Bies vertreten.
