Hydraulic Engineering and Water Management

Research topics

The structural division of research in the field of water engineering and water management with the associated subject of surveying and geoinformatics is divided into three main research areas: flood risk management, data collection and visualization, and international water management projects.

The knowledge available in the field in the areas of GIS, geoinformatics, remote sensing, and geophysics offers a great potential for application to "traditional" questions. The possibilities of these technologies, especially in the practice of water management, should be explored in their breadth.
