Interested students in the Master's program Civil Engineering Structural Engineering can acquire evidence of advanced concrete technology knowledge (theoretical e-certificate) as part of their studies.

Proof of advanced concrete technological knowledge ("e-certificate") is required for senior personnel in concrete testing centers, for external survey and monitoring inspectors in concrete construction, and for the training of construction site or factory personnel in concrete construction.

The training with examination in accordance with the training regulations of the Advisory Council for concrete at the German Concrete and Construction Technology Association E.V. Proof of advanced concrete technology knowledge and skills is provided, the requirements are

a) the production of ready-mix concrete according to DIN EN 206-1 and DIN 1045-2,

b) the production and installation of concrete with higher strength and other special properties of the monitoring classes 2 and 3 according to DIN 1045-3 and

c) the production of prefabricated load-bearing components (finished parts) in accordance with DIN 1045-4 and of finished parts which are the subject of a product standard which refers to the respective concrete technology requirements to DIN EN 206-1 and DIN 1045-2.
